March 2017

A choreography based on the work of the Greek sculptor Titsa Chryssochoides. The work was designed as part of a museum tour focusing on 20th century women of arts and culture. Τhirteen female artists, thirteen steps of a special journey through the rooms of the Nikos Hadjikyriakos-Ghika Gallery.

The present work is an in situ "choreographic comment" that was intended to function as a museum exhibit. It was designed in March 2017 as part of a tour on women creators of the 1930s era. With one of these women as a starting point, the sculptress Titsa Chryssochoides, who got inspiration mainly from female figures and their femininity, a duet is created. Two women that could be friends or sisters, a recurrent theme in Chryssochoides' pursuits, move through characteristic poses seen in her sculpures, proposing a kinetic approach of her work.
