Jewelry Through Movement | Museum of Arts and Design | New York City 2020

Museum of Arts and Design
Online access workshop
New York, May 2020

Design, implementation: Vassiliki Spachou in collaboration with MAD access team
Production: MAD museum

Studio and contemporary art jewelry are rooted in sculptural experimentation and in the idea of art made for the body. In this meeting especially designed for people who are blind or partially sighted, we explored selections from the exhibition 45 Stories in Jewelry: 1945 to Now  through movement and embodiments. The artists’ creative processes served as inspiration for simple choreographic patterns and guided ways of moving.

Game inspired by Otto Künzli's work "Plaste & Elaste"
